The Farm

Appledores Farm is based in Tostock in rural Suffolk in East Anglia in the UK.    It is about 2 and a half hour drive from the international airport of Heathrow and Gatwick.  It is of an hour drive from Standsted Airport.

The Farm is a breeding farm for Alpacas.   We also have a small livery/agistment services for both equines and camelids.   

Our Alpacas

Our Alpacas are all registered pedigree. We believe in breeding from the best bloodlines to ensure that we have healthy alpacas that produce the highest quality fibre.

Currently our herd carries the genetics of National Supreme Champions of Bozedown Galaxy, Inca Lillyfield Jack of Spades, EPC Top Acount of Fowberry and Atlanta Cambridge Centurion.

Progency from these bloodlines produce unrivalled conformation in their off-springs, and high density/fineness of fibres which are soft and lustrous

Our philosophy

Our Alpacas have steady temperament and calm personalities.  Farm staff know them by name, and they respond in kind.  They are well cared for.   We are proud that the fibres we use, come from happy animals with individual personalities.
